I WANT TO TRY CROSSFIT, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Thank you for expressing interest in trying RPP Fitness and welcome to “the community of bettering yourself.” Your first class at RPP Fitness is completely free, so there is no obligations! Please contact us anytime to set up a day/time for your free session, or even an opportunity to stop by and ask the coaches a few questions.

WHY IS CROSSFIT SO EXPENSIVE?

Many people have a misconception that CrossFit Membership is expensive, when in reality, it’s not. Let’s think about it this way. Any usual gym membership costs about $30.00 to 60.00 dollars per month at a minimum. You’ll probably get a short tour of the gym once you sign-up but after that, you’re on your own. You are responsible for coming up with your own workouts and making sure that you are maintaining proper form so that you may not accidentally injure yourself.
But what if you decide to hire a personal trainer? Most personal trainers charges, at a minimum, around $25 an hour. If you meet with a personal trainer let us say 3x per week for 1 month, that’s a upwards of $300 dollars, in addition to the gym membership that you’ll be paying! That’s far and beyond the price we charge for our unlimited membership!
Here at RPP Fitness, you’ll get so much more for your money. Not only are your workouts be already planned out for you every day (these WODs or workouts-of-the-day have been planned out weeks in advanced to help target different parts of your body everyday), but you will also get trained, professional coaches that will make sure you maintain proper form at all times which helps prevent injuries. Also, we are a community. We care for each and every single one of our members and we make sure to know our members by name, including your goals and measuring your progress every step of the day. If you haven’t come in weeks, trust me, we’ll notice, and will shoot you an e-mail or give you a call to see how you’re doing.
Plus, you probably won’t get the camaraderie, competitive push, and/or support that you’ll feel working with others in a group setting. Trust us, when you’re struggling to complete that last set, and you hear people motivating you, it gives you that extra push you need to finish, and that’s something that you will probably not get in a regular gym.

DO YOU OFFER CLASSES FOR CHILDREN?

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

Yes! We currently offer 15% discount for medical, teachers & students and 25% for all military (active duty, guard and reserve), police & firefighters.

HOW LONG ARE THE CONTRACTS? IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?

There is no contract at RPP Fitness. All memberships are due at the beginning of the each month. If you change your mind and decide not to stay with us, just let us know before your next month’s charge and we’ll cancel your membership without penalty.

I’VE NEVER DONE CROSSFIT. DO YOU OFFER BEGINNER CLASSES?

Yes! We do have a very well thought out and comprehensive beginners course. It consists of 6 sessions/3 times a week for 2 weeks designed to prepare you for entry into our everyday WOD (workout-of-the-day). On Beginner’s Course will ensure you are comfortable enough with the basic movements of CrossFit to achieve your fitness goals safely. Additionally, every WOD is trainer-led. Our trainers’ #1 job is to engage and assist you during the WODs.

DO I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE BEGINNER’S COURSE FIRST?

If you have never done CrossFit before, for your safety, it is imperative that you start with the Beginner’s Course first before jumping into our regular fitness classes. It doesn’t matter how fit you are, the Beginner’s Course is mandatory to teach you the correct form and prevent you from possibly injuring yourself. It also introduces each new athlete to the coaches. This builds a relationship, eliminating the possibility that you are scared or too intimidated to ask questions. This relationship is crucial for your success as an athlete.

IS CROSSFIT IS TOO “EXTREME” OR HARD FOR ME?

No! Do not allow your perception of what you have seen on the internet or TV impact your decision to start CrossFit. One of the main facets of CrossFit is that it is scalable to every ability, strength, and person depending on everything from experience to past injuries, and even future results. In other words, our coaches have the ability and flexibility to tweak the WOD (workout-of-the-day) to the needs of each athlete, resulting in a great workout that is within the skill level of that individual. It will be hard, but doable for everyone. More importantly, stick to it and we guarantee that you will get stronger, fitter, and healthier.
