CrossFit Level 1 and 2 Coach
As an athlete, I believe coaching helps me understand movements more thoroughly and helps me understand how different athletes learn. This is what led me to CrossFit.
I began CrossFit in 2012, and quickly became addicted, researching and learning as much as possible. I have been competing in CrossFit since my second month in, and I don’t plan on looking back any time soon. I received my certification in 2013, and in 2014 stumbled upon the opportunity to coach this sport that I love so deeply.
I look forward to coaching and getting to know each and every person that walks through the door. With the passion that Christian and I possess, the sky is the limit.
Growing up in the small town of Cut Bank, MT, there was never really much to do, leading me to develop a love for sports at an early age. I really fell in love with training when I started lifting in 8th grade. As much as I loved competing, my real passion was in the preparation. Off-season workouts were easy easy due to the fact that I enjoyed seeing my progress and I really embraced my grind.
As I reached high school, my wrestling and football careers took off. Here, I found a new passion, coaching. I began helping the middle school and little guy wrestling programs. This was extremely rewarding as I was able to watch very young wrestlers mature and develop not only as wrestlers, but as a young men.
For me, coaching became just as enjoyable as achieving my own accolades. As I grew, I fell more in love with coaching and continued to do it as much as possible.
